The proximity to Tahrir square and Egyptian hotel and the ladies who clean there are delightful.
Not friendly male staff, exhorbant tour prices ( more expensive than any hotel we checked into, the guide makes only 100 ep while the hotel pockets the remaining 800 ep and the guide knew less than we did and had to refer to his book often), mediocre service, breakfast not included as advertised and they had very creative math skills that did not end well for the guest and "forgot" to give back change and refused when asked about it later.

The staff was terrific. Very well-kept hotel. The balconies and rooftop deck were great.
The air-conditioner was a little weak, and the mattress a little stiff. Otherwise, no complaints.

Centrally located, helpful staff, immaculate rooms, simple but satisfactory breakfast, and stunning rooftop views. Wish we utilized their Cairo guide service, as our hired guide was useless.
